Sandhya & Coonor

Dromeland Castle, Ireland, 2025

Some weddings are beautiful. Others feel like they exist in a world of their own.

In the heart of the Irish countryside, Dromoland Castle became the setting for Sandhya and Conor’s story to unfold once again—this time, quieter, deeper, and more intimate. After the vibrance of their Bengaluru celebrations, Ireland offered a different rhythm. One that allowed every moment to breathe.

Their journey began far from here, in San Francisco, with a chance meeting that quickly turned into something lasting. This celebration, however, felt like a return—to roots, to nature, and to everything that defines them as a couple.

Surrounded by rolling greens and still waters, the castle transformed into a world shared with 150 of their closest people. Corridors filled with laughter, fleeting conversations on stairways, and the simple joy of everyone being under one roof—it felt less like an event, and more like a lived experience.

The ceremony unfolded under open skies at the Temple of Mercury. Sandhya walked through a long grass aisle, framed by nature in its purest form. Here, Celtic and Hindu traditions came together effortlessly—through elemental blessings, sacred readings, and quiet, symbolic gestures that spoke of unity beyond culture.

As evening fell, the celebration softened into something warm and immersive. Music drifted through the castle grounds, stories unfolded over dinner, and personal touches—like tables named after beloved pets—brought an intimacy that lingered in every corner.

But beyond the setting, beyond the details, what remained was a feeling.

Of time slowing down.
Of worlds coming together.
Of finding home—not in a place, but in each other.
